Can hermit crabs on local coast line be used it my marine tank im in uk so water is quite cold ...... :look:
 
No.
because of the following:
-temp. differances
-pollution
-parasites, bacteria, etc.
-agressive, or uncompatible
-it destroys natural ecosystems
-may be illegal

You would have the same risk with any other wild collected fish or invertebrate. It also seems to be a rearity that inverts will carry parasites.

Doesn't the collecting, selling and purchasing of almost every other marine fish or invert do the same?
