I have an amozon sword plant that has sprouted several little leaves off of a runner coming out of the main plant. How long do wait before i cut them off and make new plants? Also how would I remove the little plants without hurting the main?

If it is sprouting runners and there are no dead leaves then is my plant healthy? I don't use any ferts or co2!

These are some of the easiest to propagate. When the sprout is of reasonable size, cut it off and plant it.

If your sprouting the runners then just trim a good length of runner off the plant and transplant it where ever it is you want and let it do its thing.

Though I am not overly experinced with the plants, I do keep them but I usually just let them do there thing. I think you will find the new sprout has a fairmount of roots on its own. I would personally try with one and see what happens.
