I just put this above my 300 because 1 thing acrylic has going for it is the clean look. It is 4 48" 32w T8 bulbs (6000k). They are about 5" above the tank, and I was wondering what your opinions are about raising it, lowering it, or leaving it alone. Thanks for looking!

Bro, I think that I'd leave it how you have it . Nice even light and man that aro and the knife are awsome! You have some of the greates fish!

I don't think thats enough lighting. 128 watts on a 300 gallon is gonna be really dim. You should consider t5 and metal halides with vho/power compact, vho, or just power compact.

I'm not doing plants or anything, so would that do anything besides blind the fish and raise my electric bill?

I'm looking at it and it seems quite bright.
