The pond with some Triops
thanks everyone for the tips for catching my bully.
his punishment was going up for adoption in petco lol.
but my other silvertip is slowly going aggresive too. but he isn't as bad as the bully.

and my bully just recently killed one of my neon tetras :(
and the other neon was just on the gravel, dead.
and one of the neon chases the others...

anywho, the bully's gone and my neons show themselves...

thanks! :D

Whoa, when I read your post but not your Avatar, I thought you had 2 silver tipped sharks in a 20 and that scared me! I now see it was a silver tipped tetra. Glad to hear your tank is better.

There will always be dominant fish in an aquarium setting. If you take out the alpha fish, the next one down the rankings will move up into his spot. Overly aggresive actions can be caused by too many fish in a small tank, too few of a schooling type of fish, or incompatible species being housed together. It also can vary pretty widely by individual fish.

no wonder my other silvertip is starting to nip lol.

not really.

but it's the silvertip tetras. the others don't really do anything to each other and the neon aggression stopped somehow.
