Grace was kind to me last weekend when I found a 55 Gallon Acrylic Aquarium for $60. Of course it needed a little love and attention, but after two days of sanding and polishing I am satisfied with with my newfound treasure.

After staring at this empty tank for a night and restlessly tossing in my sleep as to what I was going to stock it with I am leaning heavily towards a Rainbow tank. My plans so far include a school of 6 - 8 each of Dwarf Neons and Bosemanis. Now I have to fill in the blanks but I am not sure of how much space I will have to add some contrast.

Your advice is appreciated!

don't add the boesmani ... Just get a nice school of one species of rainbow. I recommend Dwarf Neons =) You can have more of them bwecause they are a bit smaller than boesmani or many other rainbow species.

Rainbows need good current and do MUCH better in a species only tank ...

I highly recommend one if you've never been an owner of rainbows but be advised they are not easy to keep.
