View Full Version : Strange behaviour in Kribensis frys

I just made a 40% water change for the kribensis frys and I found the strangest thing... They have started school together, which they have stopped doing about 1 month ago (when they became quite aggressive with each other). Anyways, it must be the dilution of the hormones that makes them think that the tank is larger than it really is... I'll be starting to do daily water changes (20% of the total volume), this would surely reduce the aggression and increase the growth rate of the frys.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before?

Anyways, just my observations of the day.

I think it has more to feeling threatened, and reverting to a technique that both protects and comforts them. once they get settled back down, the will most like split up again...

okay... so it wasn't due to them thinking that they are in a larger tank than it really is :S

But, anyways, I'll continue with the daily water changes :D

Thank you for the clarification.
