I heat my basement to about 80 degrees fareinheit at all times for my tarantulas/scorpions/etc... if I have a fish tank down there, do I need a heater for it? Its going to be a 150-200 gallon arowana tank.

I wouldn't think so. My house I usually keep around 70-72 and my 75 gal. tank stay almost constantly 72-73 degrees. With the lighting added you may end up having temps of 81-82 degrees in it.

You should be fine but make sure that it really is a stable temp. (I don't know why it wouldn't be, just good to stress it). The lighting won't have that much of an effect, especially on a tank that size.
