I would go with a pair of AC70's, thats what I have on my 55. I have a much higher bioload than you though.

The aquaclears are a great filter. I don't know anything about the fish you want but one AquaClear 110 works great on a 55G tank with a reasonable bioload.

i have an eheim classic 2215 canister filter (164gph) and an emperor 400 h.o.b (500 gph) on my 55. it works out nicely.

wad about two ac 70 and a magnum 350

Ideally you would have two filters on the tank - a medium canister and medium sized AC. However, if you got the larger model of either of these you should be fine.

I had an EMP 400 and a Regent 20 on my 55 for years. I just recently upgraded and now have 2 Eheim 2026 canister filters. I love the canisters for the single fact that they are silent!

I do not have a planted tank but read that canisters take out a lot of CO2. I would research planted tanks on the internet or get a book before you invest in equipment.
