A totally self-sufficient planted fish tank with live plants. Specifically, I’m selling everything you’ll need for the tank including all of the aquarium supplies and other misc. aquarium things as I'm moving shortly and want to get rid of it all.
50 gallon Oceanic aquarium with matching pine stand (with storage underneath). The aquarium is six sided (48" long)....so it looks more like the newer bowfronts, but with angled front panels, not bowed.
2 bulb ballast with timer
250 watt heater
RENA filstar external filter
Substrate: a 50:50 mix of Seachem Flourite and regular gravel
Stress coat water conditioner
Fish food
Plant additives
Surge Protector and Timer
Two Powerhead 402s (I don’t use them in the tank, but you can have them) and some miscellaneous other items
It is stocked with “low-light” plants (I can’t remember their names, but they look nice). I’ve had them in here for a few years, and they do grow well, so they need periodic pruning. Driftwood. Few fish (angel fish, kuhli loach, pleco, and a few neons). I have pictures (pretty poor ones), if you would like to see it.
$200. I’m only selling this because I’m moving shortly, and don’t want to have to move it again. I’d rather sell the whole thing as a unit, but I’d consider selling just the aquarium and get rid of the plants and fish myself. I live in the Savin Hill part of Dorchester. 2 blocks from the Savin Hill T stop.
