just wanted to share the newest addition to my cichlid collection

male white saum

i wasn't supposed to get any fish tonight..but i went to the petland around here, where i buy my supplies..never bought any fish there
i happened to notice their GT tank was pretty ful from the last time i saw it, so i went over, i didnt notice him at first, i was all googly eyed over this one 4 inch male with the most incredible green color..then i saw one pass by that looked white..and low and behold..a white saum, about 3.5 inches..10$

fist time i have EVER seen a white saum in person, im glad i have him..always wanted one

very nice saum, its a female, i got a breeding pair of wild caught ones, very nice fish, take good care of it, i know you will, let me put a pic of my male and female.

its actually a male, he was vented ;), my female has taken a likeing to him as well

i dont wanna be mean, bad, or hard but really its a female, i know this fish like myself, i have studied this fish, its life in wild and aquarium, trust me it is a female, im just telling you what my experience is telling me, i can sex any gt just with one pic. you can see the difference between my male and your whitesaum, youll note the fins difference and the colors. :) i dont want to make anyone feel bad or mad :)
 
tip: did you know that male gts have side finns yellow or orange??females dont until full grown size. just another tip of my study of this fish.(i study this fish alot cause i can catch them when i want. :Angel:
