Eggs, eggs everywhere. Whats a girl to do?

Hi all. :) This is my first real post on this forum.. I'm looking for some help with some mysterious eggs that have been appearing today. I don't have any experience with eggs, other than snail eggs.
First let me tell you the species that reside in this tank. A couple cory cats, zebra danios and glowlight tetras. A small tank, but its my husbands first. We've had it up and running for about 6 months now. This is the first time I've ever seen eggs in the tank. This morning I spotted 40 eggs on one side of the glass. I looked all around and didn't see any others. Before I posted this I looked around again and saw more eggs in three other locations in the tank. One on the opposite side of the glass, others on a fake large leaf plant and a few on a rock. I wish I could spot who was laying them, but I haven't yet caught them. Any inkling as to who may be doing it? Also, what do I do now? Like I said, I've never had them before, so I don't know what to do. It would be great to have some little ones. Please give me a shove in the right direction if you would. :)

Ps: I am noticing one of my cats is being very active. Unusual since they typically hide and are lumbering. Culprit?

cories. if the tetras don't eat the eggs, you might get some babies.

it was definitely the cories. The danios are egg scatterers scattering them omong the gravel on the floor of the tank and I believe the Tetra have similar breeding habits to that of the danios.

Any recommendations to make sure some of them have a chance at making it? Remove the plant and rock that are covered in eggs? Safe guard them some how?

Any idea how long it takes for them to hatch?

it will take just 3 or 4 days to hatch. Sometimes a couple days more, sometimes less. You can place the lleaf covered in eggs in a breeder tank or net but I usually let them hatch and do what they need to on their own. There are enough that you will still get a few survivors making it to adults. If you do separate them, yse methylene blue to prevent fungus and an airstone to promote movement.

The majority of the eggs are close together on one end of the tank. I was thinking about getting a divider to section off that area. I want to make sure the cats are done laying eggs though. I'm not sure how long their mating goes on for. They sure are active little things. :p:

Cory cat it is! I just saw my Cory lay a cluster of eggs on a leaf. What a site to see! That was awesome. :)

they just mate whenever they feel like it. as long as they are happy they'll do it a couple times a month, maybe more. mine used to lay eggs that often.
