hello, i have been keeping fish for about my whole life getting involved in cleaning and actually setting up my own tanks and finaly decided tyo start with saltwater! Since christmas is coming up and since im to young to have enough money to buy a good saltwater setup i was wonedring about the nano cubes. ive been looking at them for a while and was wondering if they were a goiod start into the world of saltwater. I was thinking about the 12 gallon deluxe edition. I have a few questions though. Could i keep many fish in there since it is very small? What types of LR are best for the nano cube? Should i not buy a nano cube for any reason and maybe start off with a different unit? Are skimmers needed? and r/o units needed? thanks for any help you can give me!

I am going to direct you to the site that got me going with my nano reef nearly 5 years ago....

http://www.nano-reef.com/

A great site to start with...my tank is 20 gallons with no skimmer....just live rock, live sand, water pumps and small weekly water changes. Stocking a salt water tank is a lot lighter than fresh water, and a nano reef should be stocked even less than a fish only salt water tank. Check the site out and keep us informed about your progress! Good Luck!
