start showing color at 3 days old because i was watching closely at one of them and it has shiny gray showing and are growing very rapidly :-/ is that normal to??? um ok well i really appriciate the feedback :-D

The color mostly depends on the genetic traits. But you should be able to tell the sex of the guppy at one week.

I have had guppies that start showing color after 1 day. For sex it usually takes mine a little longer, usually 2-3 weeks. Every fish is different so there really is not a set timetable on how they age.

ok thanks wow 1 day so its not weird to see color the very first day well thanks alot for the feedback hope they grow up to look whatever they look :-P i just bought her at walmart because they looked the best loooking fish there not that i buy from there but they just stood out from the rest :-D and well wanted to save them from a crappy store where i knew they were gonna die and eveyone in here can agree with me :-D ok well again thanks for the feedback and hope more comes my way :-D
