Very, very nice. Obviously a well kept fish! And if that's your JD in your avatar he looks extremely nice as well! I really like the look of the tank also.

Thanks! The RD use to pick on him but after I added the Danios, not at all. Only if the JD wonders too close to the RD's den and then the RD gives chase.

Thanks Freak. That JD photo was taken before the "big fight". He lost some color after that point. Still looks great thought.

Thanks guys!
Your photos turned out great in low light with no flash. (I hate the way flashes effect the shots!) You even have some nice low light close ups. You must have a digital camra with a high ISO setting built in?
Can you tell me your camera brand and model no.?

Clyon, I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel. I had the camera set as follows
Shutter: 1/15
Aperature: f 7.1
ISO: 1600

The rolling landscape was done by my RD (digging and fanning) . The sand was level before he got to it. The rocks you see is the same under the sand. I stacked the rocks first before adding the sand.

Nope. I have a JD in there with him. He has a spot to the left of the tank, behind the driftwood. The RD's den is to the right (the caves behind the "valley", and 6 Giant Danios zipping around to keep the RD from killing my JD.

Nowonder about your Camra. I just started shopping again last night.
I have been using a Cannon Powershot A95 and I love it but the ISO on the older ones only go to 400.
Strange you posted you have that camra cause That one and the Cannon SD900 or G7 are what I have it narrowed down to.

In my opinion based on the price and performance, this is the best SLR camera on the market. I was looking at a Nikon D40 but I was told that Canon optics are the best.
Do you mind if I ask you when you got your Camra and did you shoot those shots with a tripod?
I bet you do you have tripod since your using an SLR.
I am thinking the SLR might not be to much fun lugging around.
However, you can really see the shots are worth it. Are you more into fish or photography?
I'll Prob go with the G7 cause its smaller and I don't know if I should get to heavy into photography.
Still not sure. :look:

You're right! Since I was shooting with a slower shutter, I use a tripod. As I see it, any low light pics with a shutter speed lower than 1/100 should either have a steady hand or a tripod. I'm really into photography. Took a class back in college and was hooked. Having a SLR has it's points but can be a pain lugging it around. I've seen smaller non-SLR cameras that can perform the same as the Canon Rebel. Check them out here..

Great site. This site helped me in choosing my Canon.
Can't go wrong with digital photography. Take hundreds of shots for that perfect shot and not worry about wasting rolls of film.
The G7 looks like a solid camera. Check out the samples and specs...
