I purchased a used eheim2213. The outlet/spray bar assemble seems to be incomplete. There is only the spray tube and a small 90 deg piece.
Is the filter pump outlet assemble missing something or am I missing something. .
I have looked at all the parts diagrams I could find hoping to find some type of 180 deg or Sheppard’s hook to go over the end of the tank( similar to the ecco). Yet the diagrams parts list I have found only show the two parts I have described. I cannot see how these two parts can go together to make the 180 deg turn at the top of the tank.

Thanks
Tony

If I understand what you're saying correctly...

What you need to do is cut a small piece of hose to connect the 90 degree piece and the spray bar (then you have the long hose running from the 90 degree piece to the canister output). If you cut the hose on a diagonal - you can get it to make the turn and not crimp.

youre supposed to use the 90-deg plastic tube cover thing. its much bigger than the elbow and its not transparent..
what i did was i ordered another intake pipe, the pipe that bents 180 at the top.
well, i don use spray bar so..

do you see it?

that green piece that goes over the intake is what im talking about

Excellent.. I was surprised, with every other part being so well engineered…. Bending the inlet tube to make the connection seemed wrong… Apparently that is how it goes on... I did not receive the strain relief clip to aid in the bend….

I did finally get smart and used spare parts from an old fluval 203 the 180deg swivel and valves fit perfectly. Its up and running great.

Thanks again
