When I was breading betta's before I used to feed the fry infusoria. Now I am in a different area and have thought about another breading setup (Don't know for sure). I can not have any negitive smells where I am at so here is my question.

Is there some tested and true food out there that is small enough for the fry that I can get without having to make my infusoria?

Yes, I use Mike Reed's NoBS Fry Food, but I also use microworms. I put lots and lots of plants in my tank prior to spawning to generate lots of NATURAL infusoria and the babies lived off of it until they were ready to move on to microworms. It's *so* important that babies have live food - I would not recommend breeding unless you can provide them with the proper nutrition. They are carnivores.

Mike Reed's site: http://www.mreed.com/fryfoods.shtml

Hope this helps.
