my friend hit my tank with num chucks. and the front ruined. so how do i get it fixed? can i get someone to replace one side? or where can i get 125 gallon tanks like the one i had? thanks.

the classifides here or you can reseal the tank with a new piece of glass, the options are that way

NUM CHUCKS???

Did these fish fight back. You must have some stong fish to need numb chucks. All kidding aside. Your local glass store should be able to fix you right up. If it is only cracked as you say depending on its location you may be able to switch this to the backside of the tank and just add some sealent to it(although unlikely). The first thing I would do is take those num chucks and beat the heck out of my freind with them.

Oh, man, you just got that tank!!! That reallly sux!!! I'd try looking into replacing the glass, first--a new 125 willl really set you back. Now, don't go playing around the tank again--and NO numchuks in the house!!! (sorry, teacher in me!!!! LOL) good luck. . .. .

^^ i know i was so excited, and he was like "wouldnt it suck if i did this" and they slipped. :thud:

i thought about turning it and sealing it but its large and goes for one point and out like 8. i just wanna try to figure out how to replace the one side. im calling some fish stores today.

thanks everyone :(

NO NOT THE FISH STORE.

They will try to sell you a new one telling you that it cant be fixed. Call a glass stor they will sell you the glass precut. Some will even fix it for you.

Yeah. Tell Mr. Friend to Ebay those numchuks and fork it over!

Yeah Go to the glass store.. Glass is pretty cheap compared to a new tank.
All you need is some clear silicone and tape to hold the glass up till it cures.. best of luck.

actually you will probably need to reseal the whole tank. you can try to install a new piece of glass and reseal with 'aquarium safe' silicone..but if you don't get the junctions right where that piece comes in contact with the other 3 pieces you will get a leak.
since you wil need to remove the frame i would just resilicone the whole tank.

a 125?? that is one thick piece of glass if it's anything like my 110.

but probably cheaper to replace the glass than to buy a new tank.
