Sorry its so long but it is a cute, funny, and scary story all mixed into one.
I was just thinking back to when I was 20. I was working at a fish store and had a customer come in for some fish for her pond. She told me that all of her fish disapered from the pond. I asked her what all she had in there and she explained that she only had koi. I then asked her if any other animals could get to the pond area and found out that the pond was in an inclosed porch. HMMMMMMMMMM What pets do you have besides the fish I asked and she quickly said none. I then asked if she had changed the water out and she said no. Now Im thinking that there are some dead fish in her pond or that she just cant see them. I didn't wont to make her feel stupid so I just asked her not to get the fish untill she brought me in a water sample.
She comes back in about 20 min. with a water sample and her peramiter are a little high but nothing to be 2 concerned with and the water was clear as glass. I sold her 3 or 4 koi and told her to bring me in some water once every other day for the next week and I would teach her how to test her chemistry. She seemed so excited and left with her new fish and the knowledge of how to get them into the pond with little stress.
The next day she came in with water and a worried look on her face. She approched me and said they are gone. I tested her water and it was fine. I asked if I could come over and see the tank for myself. She purcked up and smiled then said sure but you have to be carfull I think alians are abducting my fish.
I showed up after work and looked at her pond. THERE WERE NO FISH WHAT SO EVER. I was thinking at this point (someone is playing games with me). Her porch was very well designed nothing was getting in this pond. I told her I was a little confused as to why her fish was vanishing. She said " I told you they are being abducted by ailians". I chuckled and she looked alittle upset at my lauphter.
As I was leaving I caught a little canaster on the table that was almost hidden by a vace. Turtal Pellets on the lable right next to her fish food. I turned and said mam you have a turtle. She smiled and said very exitedly yes I have a turtle named shelly. Ok mam where do you keep shelly. Oh she is hiding out in the plants around the pond. I walked over to the pond and started searching for shelly. I found her with a few scales next to her. Mam why didn't you tell me you had a turtle in your pond area when I asked you if you had pets. Oh shelly wont eat them she only eats vegtibles. I showed her the scales next to her turtle and she was totaly freaked out.
Next day I sold her about $200 dollers worth of supplies so that she could build shelly a pond of her own. Then she hired me to do the construction. Shelly now had a new home and her new fish lived happly ever after the end.
