starting my DIY co2. Question about dispensing the co2.

Hi,
I plan on putting the airline tube directily in the intake of my powerhead. The powerhead does NOT have a prefilter sponge on it. Will this cause damage to my powerhead?

Not at all. Putting a sponge won't do anything concerning the powerhead.
