The plants with the broad leaves behind the SA are some sort of sword plant. You should expect some dieoff from these plants as they adjust to their new setting. They are normally very hardy and grow massive root systems, so are hard to remove later on. Also they can grow massive leaves and take over any tank. Pruning will be a must as it ages.

Often plants are raised emersed in a hydroponics way and the plants grow a certain style of leaf to deal with that environment. When they are submerged in a tank that leaf will die away to be replaced with a more suitable leaf. So your plants may look bad for awhile. As you see new growth, just pick the bad leaves off at the stem.
