Like the title says, i'm new to the board, but not to cichlids! I have a small, but extensive fish room plus show tanks ranging from 2 1/2 gal fry tanks to my 220 CA tank. I keep Mbuna, Haps, Peacocks from Malawi, shell dwellers, calvus, neolamps and brichardi from Tang, 2 species of Vics, and Guentheri and albino kribs.
From SA I keep wild angels, crenichla lepidota, keyholes, 3 species of apisto and soon some severums for a G.O. contest.
Central Americans are my favorites, and I will be soon getting rid of almost everything in my fish room, save for them. Of the CA's, my favs are the crypotheros species. I'm trying to locate all 12 current species, which may turn into 14-18 species next year once re-classification is done lol. Right now I have HRP's, Cons, Myrnae, Gold side and regular Sajica, and Nanoluteus. Also from CA are mixtecos, gold aureus, nicaraguense, vieja regani, cyanoguttatus, archo spinnossisumus and a neat orange strain of herotilapia multispinosa.
I also dabble in live bearers, and have several schools of tetras for dithers, as well as a few species of catfish. Just thought I'd drop a hello to the board, and give a little backround on myself
