Well tomorrow is the tank decorating day.

I have to go get a bunch of x-mas decorations for my fish tank.

I have been looking but they seem to put glitter on all the decorations that I feel safe to put in my tank. (GRRRRRRRRRRR) I will look again tomorrow and see if I can find any. I like to make my tanks look a little christmas'y. Hope you all follow suit.

If you decorate tanks for x-mas lets post some pics. I will post mine when I finish it.

To be honest with you, I look at the idea as unnesisary work, unesary stress on the fish and think it would look really corny in a reef or planted tank. It would also wreck all the work I put into trying to make my tank look as naturall as possible.

I would put Christmas sun catchers on the glass until Christmas is over, but not glitter on the decor...

No that is what I was saying I don't like the fact they got glitter on everything. I wouldn't put the glitter in the tank that would be like giving fish glass to eat.

I like the natural look myself. I decorate only one tank when I have multiples. I am just strange I guess. I posted this becouse I am the only one I know that does this and just wonted to see if anyone else decorated theres.

well i will be reaquascaping my 20G, but not more christmas. i just want to replace those tacky resin ornaments with some more natural stuff like driftwood or slate.

Gues there isn't that many

Why not? I mean I wouldn't Christmasize my tanks, but I don't see why it would be a problem. Just a matter of taste - I doubt the fish really care all that much. They don't know it's Christmas.
