Missing WC Minnow in a 10 gal?????

I had 2 WC Minnows cycling a 10 gal DPuffer tank. I finished planting and landscaping, I coull see both WC.

Then I went to get the puffers, with (I know it's a gamble) a couple of Kuhli and Ghost Shrimps.

Retrieved one WC while the bags were floating, the other one is NOWHERE to be seen. With all the plants and rocks, I can't find it!

I'll dig gently in the substrate I guess tomorow so I won't disturb the Puffers so much, but I'M freaking out.

Well I did not think of that... Will do, but... I have 2 cats who hate their diet food with passion. The body may in fact remain missing forever...

Just lifted everything that could be lifted, combed the gravel with my fingers everywhere but under the plants...

I'll be testing for ammonia 3 times a day for a little while.
