I have a juvie zz hes not much on plants but loves his fake log to hide from time to time he eats flakes blood worms and brine shrimp . sadly he wont live with anyone so hes in a 55 by himself good luck there very interesting fish

They get really ugly when they get older. Here are some pics of them pretty ugly. You can google them and see how ugly they get. I do like humps on cichlids heads but not like that.

Actually, some get quite beautiful. Good examples are the ones posted above.
Some don't like them, I find them very pleasing to watch.

theyre colors and look are amazing, but the bad part is that they are hybrids, but they are AWESOME fish and very pleasent to have, great personality and beautiful colors. i think the hum on those are little comparing the huge and beautiful one of the frontosas

theyre very aggressive...mine was very territorial at first but now lives happily in my comm tank with the others, and actually have been attach with my blood parrot.
