I am looking into getting into fishkeeping. I have pndered salt VS. Fresh and have come to the conclusion that the only responsible thing to do would be to start out slowly with a freshwater tank and see how i do. With that said I have done research and will continue to do so. I am wanting to obtain a 55 gallon tank and i know I like the larger and smaller chiclids(SP). With that said what other fish could i place in the same tank. I know this is kinda open ended but would love to hear all scenarios!!!!!!!

well a few that i know are clown loaches, plecos, cats, sharks. there are a lot of chiclids people around here that can give you all kinds of good info. maybe go in the chiclid section and search around for what people have together. also a lot of people put in the sig whats in their tanks. so yeah definatly go search aroudn in the chiclid section.
