Cant find info on the Needlenose Gar???

Im looking for info beacuase im gettin ready to purchase a needle nose gar and some columbian sharks, at my LFS the only gar are called needlenose gar scientific name (Xenocara dolichopterus) cant find any info about this fish on the Aquari Central species profiles.. any other places i can get some?

Those are good sites. I tried searching for the needle nose and I had a hard time finding anything so I tried the old Latin name Xenentodon cancilla. Hope this helps.
