Recently I added some new fish my my 20 gallon. 8 Goo Obo http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=2525
They are very small and some of them will be put into another tank.
Anyways I went away friday night and got back sunday to find BOTH large adult Bamboo Shrimp Dead in the tank, I also found the remaints of one Celeb Rainbow and one Papendetta Furcata (spelling?). My Apple Snails ate them.
I have had the Bamboo shrimps and the Furcata for quite some time (over 6 months) and they were all healthy when I left.
Water Parameters are all still perfect 0 amonia and less than 5 ppm nitrate. (almost bottomed out again).
I have DIY CO2 with a red seas reactor. The only problem I noticed was that the airstone line had worked it's way off the splitter valve so I was not offgasing CO2 for a night or 2. I did a water change on friday before I left for the weekend. I also added a heater because it has been getting cold (temp in tank currently dropped to 75 so I will turnt he heater up a tad).
All remaining fish seem as healthy as usual. So what killed my fish?
I still have a couple live cherry shrimps and the snails all seem ok as well.
