Check out this thread . . . I've got 4 "Emerald" cories, large, @ 3", darker green than the bright ones in the photo--never seen those.

Hmmm Thank you all for the identification help. I don’t know where to get anymore Bronze Cories Do you think he would get along with and school with Elegant Cories or maybe emerald green Cories?

I have a pair that I can give to you if you are in Eastern Canada.

I had a school of six cory but one died from shock from the first water change and two others died from gettign sucked into a powerhead (smelled an oto who fell for that trap and they just went in one after the other ... it was horrible) and one of them .. well.. im not entirely sure but I think he was digging next to a rock and it shfited just enough to smush his head in... the other two are fat and healthy though.. and quite mature =0

They look really nice when they colour up a bit and dno't look so pale but I think I will replace the pair with a bunch of Amano shrimp.

I don't get cleanup crews to be lazy about my cleaning habits, by the way. It's just that I enjoy the benefits of a fish that stirs up gunk on the bottom while still looking pretty and adding to the tank. I like shrimp more because they are smaller and hide in all sorts of interseting places.

"any1 know though if i do get the wrong spices of Cory if they will accept him into there school?"

Generally, corys of different species will tolerate and "hang out" or rest together, but will only properly "school" with same species. This is very noticable with mine - 2 bronze and 1 haroldschwartzi - only the bronze corys will "school" and swim together

Thanks bmxer4ever Seeing as I don’t know where to get any more bronze cories i will have to try the elegant cories and hope for the best. Maybe seeing as my cory is oldest the new ones will look up to him heh <.< >.> i can hope

Anyway thanks for the help keep an eye out in the members photo section for when I post b4 and after pics of my 40fw you all have helped me setup :D
