i saw a tank with "albino plecos" at the lfs and i was wondering what you all thought about them. i have a 20gl that i'm still cycling but was thinking about one of them for the future.

the albino chocolate plecos sold at petsmart will get as big as the common black ones, 20-24 inches. if it was an albino bristlenose, they'll reach around 5 inches.
I havre a bunch of the albino Bristle nose..cute lil buggers ..orange in color with red eyes..they do eat a bunch of algae ..I suplement the diet with algae wafers and zuccini.
the females only get 3-4 " the males 4-5"
I keep lots of driftwood in the tanks..they stay amongst the tangles of wood but can be seen frequently foraging in the early evenings...they seem to come out more when the lights dim.
