is it common for a 2year old red oscar to grow to 11inces? my red oscar is now 11inces.will she hit 12inces? she is housed in a 135 gallon aquarium with another 10ince albino oscar.

Oscars can get huge. Even that size tank may not be enough for two oscars. They are messy eaters and they produce a lot of waste and I mean a lot.

16" is the biggest ive seen, but even then, thats alot of oscar for a tank to deal with, not to mention two of them. make sure that your tank has adequate filtration.

i have 240gallon tank in the basement but i am moving in two months so why set it up. sure will after i move though.

Yep, that's normal:) When they're well taken care of they can hit 14-15" commonly.
That tank will be ok with the two given that there is adequate filtration (0 ammonia and nitrite) and you keep up on water changes:)

2 os in a 135 is fine, but theyr small for os especially the 10inch.

the 10inc oscar is 7 1/2months old. i didnt know that it was a small oscar for its age.
