my balas are eating my plants!!

argh!!! they are annoying me now lol! All i hear at night is the pop pop pop noise of them eating my live plants lo. Is this normal? No behavioral change or anything. No diet alteration. They obviously like the plants. I must admitt when i put cucumber in a few weeks ago they liked that more than the plecos.
 
Add more fresh veggies to their diet I guess. Some fish crave the fresh veggies. Try also some spinach or lettuce (not iceberge) or zuchinni. If they are satfisfied they may staop the plant eating.

YOU EVER TRIED CARROTS?
 
Carrots and other root veggies are generally very hard unless cooked awhile. I would say stick to softer fare like spinach, zucchini and cucumber. I would continue adding regular fish food as well.
