I have a 75 gal tank with a 4inch oscar, 6inch lima shovel nose catfish, 8inch clown knifefish,a 4inch redhook silver dollar, and a 3inch golden servem. Yes I know my tank will be to crowded with all these fish full grown but I will eventualy return my clown, silver dollar and my serverm when they get to big. But anyway my problem is that my oscar is being agresive torawd all of my fish even the twice as large knifefish! (he does most of the time get along with the catfish though). I just cant find myself returning my beautiful beloved oscar (i think he is a veil tail oscar), but what should I do ??? what if I put in a more aggressive fish like a red devil would that help or would it even things out or just make another bully?? I dont know?? please help me if you can :shark:

then return them now, noone will take a huge Clown, nor a huge SD or severum. Oscar is not compat with them anyways and should be moved.

ok I think returning them is my only chose now isnt it... but after all that what do you think about red devils I think they are magnificent and impressive. Would one work in my tank with oscar and olive (my shovel nose cat)????

thanks. I think I will give it a try, but do you think a 12inch red devil would be way to big and eat my fish like feeders?? I hope not.but there is a awsome red devil 12 inch at my lfs that I just fell in loves with it!

A red devil and an oscar are a bad mix especially if the red devil is bigger than the oscar. I did it once and the red devil was beating the snot out of the oscar that was actually bigger than the red devil. I had to do an emergency rescue of the oscar and move him to another tank. IMO don't risk it.
