I am curious if anyone has ever set up a natural coastal (non-reef) tank. Years ago we used to keep our leftover live bait shrimp and mud minows in the aquarium when we lived on the bay. The shrimp are so cool to watch and we even had a few baby crabs in there. The shrimp were just standard brown gulf shrimp.
