I am starting up a 75g malawi tank. There will be (lots) of rocks and caves, and the tank will most likely have a sand bottom. I am interested in putting some live plants in the tank, but I know that most types will be shredded by malawi cichlids in a matter of seconds. Any suggestions? I am thinking of putting in some java moss, since it will root to just about anything, but I would also like to put in some leafy-type plants as well. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
