On my 20 gallon high, I just got my new lights :) (two 25watt bulbs). This was also a problem with my old lighting. How can I get the light to reach into the back of the tank and the front corners as well. The light is mainly in the middle, and doesn't reflect to the back as much. Would it help if I got a glass hood, and suspended the lighting a few inches over the tank? It seems like it would work, but what would you guys do. I would suspend it over by putting little legs on the lighting fixture.

Aluminum Foil :) Nothing else will fit.

The Miro 4 reflectors AHSupply sells are good. You can check the sizes at this link:

Do you have fluorescent tubes? Or do you have the screw-in bulbs? With the screw-in bulbs, if they are spiral, you're losing tons of light anyway and definitely need a good reflector.
