Well, i havn't posted here for quite a while...mainly because i havn't needed any help!

using all of your guys (and gals) knowledge...i've had great results with my cichilds.

the only thing that happened bad was......2 of my fishies got sucked up a powerhead....... :sad:

i didn't think that it would be strong enough to suck them up it...but alas i was wrong
i now have a filter attachement on the powerhead....so no more fish sucking...and it will help make my tank cleaner :)

just wanting to say thanks!
 
I must sound like a total noob, but how does this happen? There is no place on my powerhead for my fish to be sucked up.

power heads can be added to a tank to increase circulation .in which case they are simply attached to the tank in a corner etc..if you do this you should use a prefilter(might as well get some filtering added)
or used in a rfug system..again it is best to add a prefilter.

prefilter is what i added
now i no longer have that problem
