Here are some more pics of the 150 mid-stock. You can get a better look at the substrate that I acquired in these pics, it's not 100% black but rather a nice blend of charcoal and earthy brown. It was painfull to wash, so bloody filthy!

But without further adieu:

Cat and pleco cuddling:

Nice redtail cat, just saw one at the fish farm that was over 2ft, can u imagine the hefty bag they had to take it home in when it was purchased :p:

Yup - Camera phone :(

And yup I know how big he's gonna get. And yup I know his eating habits, but this one is hand fed. And the goldies are there as mine pigeons at the tail end of the cycle - they made it, so they deserve to stay until they get eaten.

On a side note, the 30" SA redtail at the LFS ate a foot long pleco that had been housed with it for 2 weeks or longer.

I love your cat! And the pleco. And everything really. Good job :bday:

You DO know that redtail cat may get 4 1/2 feet in length, eat the other fish, and require at least a three hundred gallon tank, right?

It's going to need a lot more than that:D
I'm sure he knows the basics of the fish.

I've been pricing out 4x8x1" thick acrylic and thinking out how I'm going to foot it in the basement on or in the concrete, what I'm going to do for filtration, sumps, etc. So yeah, I know what I'm getting into.

Here's some pics of the newest addition that my brother in law just brought over:
