Hornwort will be able to grow in a brackish tank. My tank has a little salt 1.004. I also grow Rotala rotundifolia and Cryptocoryne wendtii without any problems. I've also read were Corkscrew Vallisneria can work in brackish tanks, I'm not sure about this one myself, my crabs ate it all.
