I currently have 2 24" hoods over my 55gal tank from 2 20gals I had. the tank was free so I just put the hoods I had on them for now. I'm wondering if any of the upgraded light fixtues fit over the existing hoods or if I have to get new hoods to use with them. I am hoping to find a way to just upgrade the fixture...not alot in the budget right now

check AH supply they have a number you can call..give them the info on your hood and they may be able to set you up with a retro fit kit
