exactly what kind of pleco is this?

This is an older pic, but the markings are still the same, it's just a little bit bigger now. This was sold to me as a rubberlip pleco, but the spots are white on mine and every pic I have found shows rubberlips with dark spots. He/she is a little less than 2 inches long and has barely grown since I got him/her 6 months ago, far from the 6 inches they are supposed to get to.

It looks like a rubber-lip pleco, even if it is that small still. Is it smaller than that cory? Wow! That's small.
It definitely has the distinctive "large nose"...

rubberlip/rubbernose. they're pretty slow growers, mine has been at 3.5 inches since i got it maybe a year or so ago

Thanks guys! I posted the same thing at plecofanatics and found out it is a striped bulldog pleco. (Chaetostoma cf. thomsoni or L187b) They only grow to 3.9" long so that would explain why it is growing so slowly.

Could be this 1 too. I'll have to wait for it to come out now so I can see it and compare. This one has yet to be classified so that would be cool if this is the one it is. This one only grows to 2.4 inches.

they really are bulldogs too. mine will fight with my bichir over choice shrimp pellets, and the bichir is twice his size. and has teeth!
