Aquaria Central Secret Santa - updated info and poll:

Ok folks, we have the green light for the Secret Santa gift exchange. Dangerdoll has brought up the possibility of instead of a gift exchange, we exchange cards. The concept would still be the same: you PM me your contact info and I randomly pair participants. Since this is the first year, and due to the fact that this is a late start, a card exchange might be a good idea. Here would be the important dates:
Registration period open: Friday Dec. 8th.
Registration closes: Thursday Dec. 14th.
I PM you your partner info: Friday Dec. 15th.

I will give this one more day for polling.

Funny you should bring this up. We have discussed making this very change that would delete the anonymity. The address lists would not be published globally and only the participant would be allowed to see the name and address of the recipient. It would be ok to give only your username if desired.

Ok, time to open registration for the AC non-anonymous Santa swap. If you would like to participate, PM me with the following information:

Name: (username ok)
Address
A short description of your tanks and fish
Please state if you are unwilling to mail outside of the US.

Also, reply to the thread so I can verify if I missed anyone due to a possible full PM box, that way if I see you replied to the thread, but I don't have your info, I can ask you for it before it's too late. (you know, in case I am an idiot and accidentally hit the "delete message" button before I'm ready!)

This registration will be open until Thursday Dec. 14th. On the 15th, I will randomly pair the participants and PM the above information to the person who will be sending you the gift/card. I am leaving it up to you whether you send a gift or card. The idea here is not so much the value of the gift or card but to further camaraderie amongst members and to spread some holiday cheer.
