Hi
new to the forums, but not to the hobby.
I've been thinking about changing the stock in my tank and redoing some things. Below you can see what I currently have, and I want to take out the barbs, gouramis, and ghost cat's and add in some more cichlids, some of the fish I'm considering adding is:

Fire Mouths
Orange Cockatoo
Green Texas
Double Full Red Cockatoo
and I would like a Red Jewel-But I know that they can be..........tepremental

Any thoughts on wether or not these would or wouldn't go with each other or in the tank already? Would some of these be better paired?

Thank you

I bet if I ask if I can put an oscar in a 10 gallon tank I'd get some responses

Ok... It looks like you have a mix of Africans and - Well, a mix of everything! Rams usually like high pH; Africans low pH. What is the pH of your water?

Texas... Likely to eat everything in the tank.

Firemouths... You're talking a pair? I doubt your rams will survive.

Cockatoos... Will probably hassle the rams; might work if the tank is heavily planted and sightlines are blocked.

Jewel... I wouldn't. Again, I think the rams are going to suffer.

Frankly, I'm amazed that what you have in there is working out! I'd leave well enough alone.

Pretty sure it's the other way around. Africans need high pH (8ish, depending on which type of africans) and Rams need low (6-6.5ish I think).
Brain freeze... Sorry.

The Texas will eventually take most of the fish out. They are pretty territorial, and when they get bigger can do some damage.

I plan on getting a 150 before to long, so I was hopping that would give everyone enough space

You're looking at four very different cichlid groups. Central American, African Rift Lake, West African, and South American Dwarfs. Pick your favorite and choose tankmates around the cichlids.
