i just bought 2 rio 90's that put out 80gph each. I have a 10g tank and was wondering whats the best placement for these powerheads.

Best placement really is down to personal preference to be honest..Keep trying them in different spots of the tank and water the water go round to see that you have no dead spots. I now have mine on the back of the tank pointing forward on slight angles so the full force is not just hitting the front glass, but more so deflected off to the sides which gives me now good water movement in the tank and also give some surface agitation for oxygenate the water better..
