I read in a that staghorn corals are easy to maintain, but I see many websites that say they're hard. Anybody have any ideas?

Staghorns are SPS corals, which means that they require very intense lighting, high calcium, and strong, varied currents. Staghorn is definitely NOT a beginner's coral and should only be attempted after successfully keeping soft and LPS corals for extended periods without problems.
