Hi. Will smaller bichers do well in a 29 gallon tank with two angels?

As far as i know all bichirs get pretty huge (12-16 inches). I personally wouldn't keep one in a 30g.

2 angels in a 29 is enough as it is.

no. they get much to big and a 29 with two angels is enough

29g is a little cramped for the smallest species of bichir which maxes out at 10-12". Personally i would recommend a 55g min.

I HAD one with two angels in a 29G...with no prob.... Bichers do get really big (mine was tiny) I had plans to put him in a bigger tank...but ....well read the sig. :rolleyes:

Ouch... sorry to hear that.... when I lived with my parents, I was a typical teen that always seemed to be arguing with my stepmom and I'd even have a few words with my dad once in a while.... but I always made sure to hold back just enough to keep them from doing something stupid to my tanks.
