I might get a veiltale in a tank that's at least 30 gallons (I don't know the size but I know it will be 30 gallons+) and I want to know some good tank mates.

LOL be patient, you have to give more than 15 minutes before you respond. We don't live in front of our computers hitting refresh ever 2 minutes.

nothing. one fancy goldfish is just enough for a 30g. if you had something like a 55, you could have two of them. possibly you could have some large apple or mystery snails, but goldfish will eat small ones.
You have to be careful what you put with a goldfish anyway, especially a fantail or veiltail. Everyone seems to like the taste of goldfish tail
Best just to keep goldfish with goldfish, and even then you wouldn't really want to put a veiltail in with a comet.
