fish lost its eye

help i had a bad case of popeye. the water parameters are back to normal. and fish are healthy again. unfortunately my angel lost one of its eye. how do i start the healing process and i know he cant grow a new eye. thanks for any help
 
most fish will heal from this injury...keep antibacterials in the tank to keep the risk of infection down...and stay on top of water changes....the cleaner the water the lower the risk of infection is

i'd disagree with this. keeping medication on board to "prevent" infection, when there is no current disease process going on is never a good idea. keep the water pristine and the fish will heal on its own. you can add some salt to the water to prevent osmotic fluid loss through the wound if it's an open sore, but beyond that, nothing.
