Has anyone on here purchased an aquarium from glasscages.com? If so were you happy with their product and customer service?

I need to replace an aquarium :sad: , and they seem to have very reasonable prices.

Yeah I've heard nothing but good things about them. The only downside is that they will cost a fortune to ship. The best thing to do is find out if they attend any trade shows near you. If so, they will bring your tank and you can pick it up from them at the show, no shipping charges incurred.
 
I just put in an order for a tank from them. They will be in White Plains NY during the first weekend of the new year. I'll pick up my tank off the truck then.
 
According to their website, they'll be in St. Louis on the 30th. That's one of the reasons I'm so interested (and the price, of course).
 
All of mine from them are great.

Shipping can kill you, picking it up at the near by show they are attending is the way to go. It costs $40 bucks for this feature though. But that was still $200 less than shipping charges from their TN location to the Raliegh, NC show.

They also have some great items for birds.

Very friendly in person, a little curt over the phone and slow to repond to e-mails. But I repeatedly buy from them.
 
Thanks for all the advice. I ended up ordering an all-glass from my lfs. Even with the upcoming local show I still got it for less than glasscages.com, only $5.00 less but the lfs is alot closer. I'd rather do buisness with them anyway considering that good "mom and pop" fish stores seem to come and go around here.
