Today my fish died. it looked like it lost control of its muscle. when i woke up today it was swiming werid then before i left to do somethign it was curled up trying to swim, then when i came back it was dead. does anyone have a clue what was wrong with?

have you tested your water lately?
what size tank was he/she in?
what kind of fish was it?

its a 5 gallon. it was a dwarf platy. and i havnt because it has been exam week so i have been a super geek

def. have you water tested. high nitrites can cause spontaneous, uncontrolled movement.

What other fish do you have in your tank? What are your ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates?
