Yesterday I added another three fish to my twenty gallon tank. One of them, a platy, has spent all evening floating around the surface of the water. He ate earlier today and he moves his fins around, but he just won't move away from the surface. Is there anything I can do for him at this point?

You could attempt to put him in a hospital tank and treat him with some broad spectrum antibiotics and anti parasite meds but it may be to late and if he is week the meds may kill him any how.
